How to Use Video to Connect with Your Audience, Branding, and Relationship Building for Businesses
We are the Co-Founders of Ideal Impact Media, Trevor Barone and Austin Roghelia. In this episode of Business Impacting the Space Coast we share our secrets and behind the scenes to producing video content that sells.
Many business owners are starting to understand they need to add video to their marketing, but few understand how to start. Because of this we wanted to present our process and how local business leaders can take advantage of social media’s appetite for video content.
YouTube is the obvious first choice for video, however, basically every platform prefers video content over other mediums. So if you are looking to stretch your advertising budget buckle up for this full keynote showing you how local companies are doing it here in Brevard.
In this presentation we also dove into local small businesses who are really excelling like Cryderman’s Barbecue and Wayne Anthony Insurance. Additionally we discuss technical Hollywood techniques like Rembrandt lighting and filming shot reverse shot. Because we all have very capable cameras in our pocket understanding these concepts may be all that is needed to establish your brand effectively through video.

In Episode 3 of Business Impacting the Space Coast Trevor Barone gets together with local IT professional and small business owner Francisco Hernandez from Run Smarter IT. Francisco says it isn’t always about an IT arms race with bigger and badder technologies. Sometimes the best defenses are low tech, local solutions in the fight against cyber threats.

For most businesses their data is their single most important asset. Because of this back up solutions are necessary. In the event of a ransomware attack or loss of integrity protecting data requires thinking outside the box. While cloud costs like Amazon’s AWS have come down large sets of data may require alternative solutions. Owners and IT administrators should also consider regional storage options like SD Data Center right here in Rockledge Florida.
With new software and hardware capabilities can also come additional devices and processes. Because of this Francisco spends much of his time analyzing and providing solutions on integration. Investing in integrating different platforms to minimize duplicating input can provide enormous dividends. In one particular case in Brevard County, Fransisco uncovered a business’s workflow where 19 different applications were used. Of these 19 almost none of them spoke directly to each other and there were still problems that the 19 didn’t directly address like scheduling. Integrating a workflow to allow employees to do their job more efficiently helps the bottom. More importantly, proper integration can also avoid frustration and employee burnout.
